Sweat Analysis and Hydration Consultation
Sweat Analysis and Hydration Consultation
Hydration is one of the fundamental pillars of athletic performance. Yet most athletes – from recreational runners to professionals – rely on general recommendations that do not take individual differences into account.
Everyone has a unique sweat profile. A sweat analysis helps determine how much fluid and sodium you actually lose during exercise and uses the result to create a specific hydration plan.
Sweat analysis is currently available only in Prague
All you need to do is work up a sweat and provide a sample. During a single visit, you will receive specific data and personalised hydration recommendations. Testing in Brno and Olomouc is currently being prepared.
What is sweat analysis used for?
Every athlete sweats differently. One person may lose around 200 mg of sodium per litre of sweat, while another may have a concentration of 1,500 mg/L or even more. These differences determine whether standard hydration advice is sufficient.
Without precise data, electrolyte replacement is always only an estimate. During prolonged exercise, insufficient sodium intake may contribute to fatigue, reduced performance and poorer heat tolerance.
A sweat analysis shows how much sodium you actually lose. Based on the result, you will receive a personalised hydration plan covering fluid intake, drinking timing and electrolyte dosing for different types of exercise.
Maintain optimal performance
Properly adjusted fluid and sodium intake helps maintain a steadier pace, energy level and exercise tolerance.
Recover faster
Replacing fluids and electrolytes after exercise helps the body return to balance and supports recovery.
Reduce problems in the heat
An individual plan helps reduce the risk of dehydration, major performance decline and problems during prolonged exercise.
How the test works
The complete assessment takes approximately 60 minutes, is non-invasive and consists of two main parts.
Exercise phase and sample collection
First, you complete approximately 15–30 minutes of aerobic activity under standardised conditions. During exercise, we collect a sweat sample using special collection material placed on your forearm.
Analysis and interpretation of the result
The second part focuses on evaluating the measured data and explaining the result. You will learn what your specific value means for hydration during training and competition.
Personal hydration plan
Your report includes recommended fluid amounts, optimal drinking timing and precise electrolyte dosing for different types of sporting activity.
What will you learn from the analysis?
A sweat analysis helps you better understand how your body cools itself during exercise and how much fluid and sodium you need to replace continuously.
Your sweat sodium concentration
You will find out whether you are an athlete with low, medium or high sodium losses.
Your sweat rate
You will learn how to calculate the amount of sweat you lose per unit of time during physical activity.
A suitable hydration strategy
You will receive recommendations on how much, when and what to drink based on the duration, intensity and conditions of a specific activity.
Who benefits from sweat analysis?
Sweat analysis has broad value and offers something different to every athlete. Elite athletes can use it to fine-tune details that matter at the limits of performance. Competitive and amateur athletes can use it to better manage long training sessions, races and hot conditions.
It is also suitable for recreational runners, cyclists, triathletes and anyone who exercises for extended periods and wants hydration to be as individualised as their training plan or diet.
